About Me :)

My name is Olive Vera!

I'm located in Marquette Michigan, originally from the far away land of Maryland. I'm a graduate from Northern Michigan University with a BFA in Fine Arts.

I'm a fine artist working in a variety of mixed media, ranging from oil pastels (my favorite) to clay.  My art is focused on my human experience, being perceived as a woman, and dissecting my own personal experiences. Art is not only a reflection of how I feel, but a raw slice of humanity and time that could not exist without my own human hands. My art is a reflection of my humanity, and my relationship with the world around me.

I've always used art to digest and understand my surroundings. Art has always been a way for me to cope with this everchanging life, a necessary tool to sift through the intensity of modernity.

Olive Vera Finearts L.L.C. is my small business I started back in 2025. It's a culmination of all the dedication and time I've spent mastering my craft.
